What is CBD?
Short for ‘Cannabidiol’, CBD is one of the many organic compounds found in the cannabis sativa plant. These compounds interact with a network of receptors linked to the body’s central and peripheral nervous systems, positively affecting the body in a variety of different ways. This includes sleep patterns, pain, immune response, appetite, mood and hormones. 

Does CBD get you ‘high’?
In CBD, there is only a tiny trace of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) – the compound that gets you high. So although it comes from the same cannabis sativa plant, there is less than 0.3% THC in CBD, so you won’t feel any ‘high’ effects. Simply put, it’s the relaxing part without the high part.

Is CBD Addictive?
No, CBD products are not addictive, unlike alcohol, nicotine and the consumption of THC. This was confirmed by a WHO study in 2017.

Is CBD Legal In Austria?
Yes, CBD products are legal. But there are legal restrictions: CBD products with a THC content of less than 0.3 percent are legal in Austria. In the rest of the EU, the value is 0.2 percent.  According to the Agency for Food Safety (AGES), in Austria our products are not suitable for consumption. The THC content of our CBD products is less than 0.2% and comes from hemp plants that are registered in the EU Variety Catalogue. Therefore, our products can be legally sold in Austria and the rest of the EU.

How do I dose CBD products?
We are not allowed to give information about dosages as well as promises about the effect of the products, even though the numerous benefits of CBD have been proven by studies. We therefore ask for your patience that our products are sometimes vaguely described. 

How do I take CBD oil?
It is taken orally. Drop the oil under the tongue and leave it there for at least 30 seconds, so it can be absorbed through the mucous membranes in the mouth. After that, the liquid can be swallowed.

How do I take CBD softgel capsules?
They are taken orally. Either swallow the softgel capsules or let them melt on your tongue for better absorption.

I am an athlete, are CBD products on the list of banned substances?
No, CBD (cannabidiol) is explicitly excluded from the prohibited list.
